Outrageous Baking Company Fresh Baked GF Bread
Milk/Yeast Ingredients
- 1 cup milk ((regular, soy, almond))
- 1 Tbsp yeast
- 2 Tbsp honey
Other Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups Outrageous Baking All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 Tbsp flax meal
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil neutral flavored vegetable oil
Spray a 9 X 5 metal bread pan with oil and dust with a little flour. This will help prevent the loaf from sticking to the pan.
Warm the milk to slightly lukewarm, but not hot to the touch. Add the yeast and honey. It should become thick and foaming after a couple of minutes.
Mix all the other ingredients together with a stand mixer.
Add the milk/yeast mixture to the these ingredients. Blend on medium low speed for 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the pan, smoothing out the top with a knife. Cover with plastic wrap and a towel loosely. Let rise in a warm place for 1 ½ hours.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees. After the dough has risen, spray the top with water (helps with making a crunchy loaf). Bake for 20 minutes at 375.
After 20 minutes, quickly cover the bread with a sheet of aluminum foil. Turn the oven to 350 and bake for another 20-25 minutes. You can uncover the last 5 minutes of baking to see if you would like it browner.
Remove from pan after slightly cooling, and wait to slice after it is completely cooled.
